Jennifer graduated from New
Mexico State University in 2000 with a B.S. in
chemical engineering. As a student, she
served as SHPE treasurer. Upon graduation,
Jennifer moved to Austin, TX where she served as
Vice President of Administration and
participated in TAME competitions. She
became a member of the SHPE-Houston chapter in
2003 and has served in several capacities:
Jennifer's engineering
experience has been focused in the environmental
engineering field. She worked as a review
engineer for the Texas Water Development Board
in Austin, TX July 2000 – Oct. 2002 where she
focused on reviewing state and federally funded
municipal projects in the East Texas region.
From Oct. 2002 – Nov. 2004, Jennifer worked as
an air quality engineer at ERM where she worked
in air permitting, compliance, and onsite
support for various industrial clients in Texas
and Montana. From Nov. 2004 – Dec. 2005,
Jennifer worked for CDM as an air quality
engineer supporting air quality permitting and
compliance as well as serving as project manager
on several projects.
